Open Position - Merchandise Coordinator (Full Time)

We’re looking for motivated, hard-working individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a
dynamic, team-first environment. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused
Merchandising Coordinator to join our NBA G League Franchise. This position will help create an
exceptional shopping experience for fans while managing orders, tracking inventory, and running
daily operations of Vipers merchandise on gameday store and other daily operations

Responsibilities:

• Assist with ordering, receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for sale.
• Assist customers with merchandise selection, sizing, product questions, and purchases.
• Operate the store’s Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing merchandise area.
• Support gameday merchandise operations, including setup, restocking, and closing procedures.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, particularly during home games.
• Provide high-quality customer service to all guests to improve the Vipers fan experiences.
• Assist with other merchandising and retail duties as needed.
• Must have ability to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in sports, apparel, or merchandise retail.
• Familiarity with basketball or professional sports merchandise preferred.
• Experience with inventory management and merchandising.
• Previous experience operating a POS system required.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be available to work all RGV Vipers home games, including evenings, weekends, and
  other scheduled game-day events.
  

Required Skills and Abilities:

This position requires the ability to perform a variety of physical activities, including standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, and lifting. Employees must also be able to communicate effectively, handle, and operate equipment as required by the position. Additionally, the role requires the ability to safely lift and carry items weighing a minimum of 20 pounds.
