VIPERS & GLORIA JEANS COFFEE SHOP TO HOST SECOND ANNUAL BLOCKS FOR BOOKS

EDINBURG, Texas (June 20, 2022) – The Rio Grande Valley Vipers have partnered up with Gloria Jeans Coffee Shop to host its second annual “Blocks for Books” book distribution event on Friday, June 24th.

The event will take place at Gloria Jeans Coffee Shop located at 500 N. Jackson Rd., Pharr, Texas from 4-7 pm CST.

Blocks for Books is designed to increase literacy across the Rio Grande Valley. For every in-game block made during the Vipers 2021-22 season, five books will be donated to children in need. This year, over 1,500 books will be distributed, while supplies last, among children in grade levels Kinder through 12th.
