RGV SNAKE CHARMERS TO HOST OPEN AUDITIONS

EDINBURG, Texas (Aug. 5, 2026) – The RGV Snake Charmers will be hosting open auditions for the 2026-27 season on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 8 a.m. CST at the DHR Health Sports and Wellness Center in Edinburg.

The tryouts are open to females who must meet the following requirement: Must be 18 years of age by Dec. 15, 2026; Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent; Must be available for weekly rehearsals every Tuesday and Thursday starting Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026; Must be present at a minimum of seven community appearances and 20 out of 24 home games; Must have reliable transportation and must pay the $25 audition fee. Eligible applicants must have no history of criminal convictions. 

Those interested in auditioning must present a dance resume and headshot the day of the tryouts. Additionally, all participants must wear non-marking shoes and a two-piece audition outfit. To register CLICK HERE.
