QUEEN AND LAMB NAMED TO ALL-NBA G LEAGUE TEAMS

NEW YORK (April 18, 2022) – The NBA G League announced today that Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Houston Rockets Two-Way players Trevelin Queen and Anthony Lamb have received All-NBA G League and All-Defensive team honors.

Queen was named to the All-NBA G league First Team and NBA G League All-Defensive Team. The 6-6 guard was a vital success of the 2022 Championship team. He appeared in 19 regular season games for the Vipers where he averaged 25.3 points, 6.7 rebounds (4.3 defensive rebounds), 5.2 assists and 3.3 steals also earning him the honor of being named the 2021-22 Kia NBA G League Most Valuable Player of the Year.

During the playoffs, the Baltimore native played in four games averaging 26.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.5 steals earning him the recognition of the 2022 NBA G League Championship Finals MVP.

Lamb was named to the All-NBA G League Third Team. During the regular season he was seen in 31 games for RGV. He averaged 17.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.3 blocks. The Rochester native led the Vipers during the four playoff games averaging 18.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.3 blocks.
