CULVER, HINTON AND SAMUELS JR. LEAD VIPERS TO VICTORY

EDINBURG, Texas (March 14, 2024) – The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (15-11), the NBA G League affiliate of the Houston Rockets, defeated the Ontario Clippers (13-15) 112-100 on Thursday night at Bert Ogden Arena.  

The first quarter consisted of seven lead changes. No team was able to fully pull away with a clear lead until the clock struck 3:35. Ontario then had the upper hand and closed the quarter at 26-23. 

RGV turned things around in the first few minutes of the second quarter as the team jumped over the Clippers and set the score at 30-28. The Vipers continued on a red-hot run and closed the half at 64-48. 

In the second half of the game the Vipers continued to dominate and closed the game with a 112-100 victory. 

Houston Rockets Two-Way Nate Hinton was short of a double-double with 31 points and nine rebounds. Houston Rockets Two-Way Jermaine Samuels Jr. had a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Jarrett Culver finished the night with 20 points. 

LA Clippers assignee Kobe Brown paved the way for the Clippers with 22 points. LA Clippers Two-Way Jordan Miller finished with 17 points. Both Moussa Diabate and LA Clippers assignee Josh Primo had 14 points each.
